Courthouse

This photo was taken in 1912, showing the building that was constructed in 1873 as a store after it had been converted to the Courthouse in 1909.

This photo shows the interior of the courtroom with the staff of the court. It is uncertain exactly when it was taken, but probably shortly after the building became the Courthouse in 1909.

This is a drawing of the Courthouse done in 1974 as part of the documentation pursuant to the Historic American Buildings survey that led to the entire town of Idaho City being placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

(below) This photo was taken on June 22, 2003, showing the interior of the courtroom, which was restored in the early 1980's under the direction of Magistrate Judge Patricia Young, with the assistance of Kenn Smith.
